After the international success of his 2008 album, “Vida… es un ratico”, Colombian singing star Juanes is starting work on a new album, to be released later this year. But worryingly for his loyal fans, the rocker intends to try out a new musical style in the recordings.
According to the singer’s website, the album will be produced by internationally famous music producer Stephen Lipson – who in the past has worked with big name artists such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Animals and Whitney Houston.
Juanes reportedly changed producer after realizing that he was keen to expand his musical style and get more involved in the writing process for the new album.
The Medellin musician will also be recording with Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra, with whom he will be performing in a relief concert to raise money for earthquake stricken Haiti.
