Colombia’s vice president Angelino Garzon has been stable after being put in an induced coma, medics who are treating the VP’s cerebrovascular complications said Friday.
According to the Reina Sofia hospital in Bogota, Garzon’s medical condition “does not present any novelty” after intensive care medics decided to put the vice president in an induced coma on Thursday.
The 65-year-old Garzon was hospitalized on June 14 for a prostate infection. While in hospital cerebrovascular complications occurred and the vice-president was moved to intensive care.
