Colombia’s Foreign Minister on Tuesday announced that four Colombian nationals are missing in Haiti, following the devastating quake that tore through the island last week.
One of the missing victims has been identified as 35-year-old Sandra Liliana from Bogota. Liliana had moved to Haiti in December to work in security at the airport, according to El Tiempo.
The names of the other missing Colombians have not been diclosed.
According to Foreign Minister Jaime Burmudez, rescue teams are scouring the area where Liliana is known to have been, which is near La Montana hotel.
So far, there are no Colombians confirmed dead on the island. Nearly twenty surviving Colombians were repatriated days after the earthquake.
