Cookson expressed his disapproval on twitter, after the pictures of the women’s uniform went viral in which the skin-colored fabric around the sportswomen’s waste and hips and makes them look naked.
To the many who have raised the issue of a certain women’s team kit, we are on the case. It is unacceptable by any standard of decency.

It is still unknown if the outfit will have any consequences for the Colombian cycling team or if they will wear the same uniform next week, when they are represented in the road world championships. Among some of the leading riders criticizing the outfit was former Olympic Champion Nicole Cook.
