Colombian police Wednesday claimed they seized 7.5 tons of marijuana belonging to the country’s largest rebel group FARC.
According to the police, the major drugs haul took place in the central Meta department.
The drugs, allegedly belonging to the FARC’s 26th front, was found on three different locations in the municipality of Lejanias, 70 miles south of the capital Bogota.
According to the police, the marijuana was immediately destroyed.
