Colombia’s armed forces say they found another three computers and five USB sticks in the camp of “Mono Jojoy,” nine days after the air strike that killed the FARC’s military commander.
According to armed forces commander Admiral Edgar Cely, personnel investigating the remnants of the camp “just now found three more computers and five USB cards. We have around 18 computers and a total of 67 USB sticks,” he was quoted as saying by Caracol Radio.
Armed forces and government officials have given conflicting information about the number of computers and memory cards found in the camp where Mono Jojoy was bombed to death on September 22. National police commander General Oscar Naranjo said that it would take months to analyze the billions of files found on the computers of the guerrilla’s second-in-command.
