90,000 people visited the first day of Rock Al Parque Saturday. Sunday
and Monday (a public holiday in Colombia) even more people are expected.
Director of the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra and fellow organizer of the music festival, Maria Claudia Parias, stressed the “exemplary behavior” of the festival crows and reported not one incident.
“Rock al Parque is not just a great festival, but also a very important way to show how to live together in the city,” Parias told newspaper El Espectador.
The Philharmonic director expects even more visitors Saturday and Sunday when a more varied group of music styles will take the stage. The festival ends Monday with a concert concert by Argentinian Rock-en Español hero Fito Paez.
