Colombian police in the port city of
Cartagena arrested 11 Israelis for the alleged consumption of drugs and
solicitation of sex from local prostitutes, including minors,
authorities said Monday.
Local police official Col. Carlos Mena said
the Israelis traveled from Bogotá to Cartagena, “where they were
provided with drugs and women,” adding that “underage girls were
involved.”
According to police, the Israelis were arrested in a luxury
residence while in possession of what authorities say were
hallucinogenic drugs.
At least one minor was in the apartment at the time of the
arrest, police said, adding that an investigation into the incident has
been launched. (AFP)
