Uruguay’s National Ballet will perform for the first time in Bogota June 29-30.
Established 77 years ago, the dance company is one of the oldest in Latin America. The performance will only feature 28 out of the company’s 68 dancers. The group’s choreographer, argentine Julio Bocca, said “The idea is to demonstrate the versatility of the company and its dancers…”
The programs will feature neoclassical and contemporary dance styles and take place in Bogota’s Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, built just two years ago and already considered one of the best in South America.
Tickets to the event range from $17 to $55 and can be purchased on the Tuboleta website.
