According a the survey held by RCN program ‘La Cosa Politica’, 91,42% of the respondents agree with Colombia’s president. Only 5,97% rejects his policies. Uribe, who celebrates his 46th birthday today, has never before been so popular.A similar survey, held just after the assassination of FARC-commander ‘Raúl Reyes’, showed the president enjoyed the support of 84 percent of the population.A more recent survey, held when the President was under fire because of alleged involvement in the bribery of Yidis Medina, 72 percent of the Colombians said they would vote for Uribe if elections were held now.
