Three people who were injured in the Monday plane crash on the Colombian Caribbean island of San Andres remain in the intensive care unit of a Bogota hospital.
The three were part of the first group of thirteen crash victims who were flown from the island to the Colombian capital for treatment. According to local media their situation is stable.
Among the patients in intensive care are one German citizen, one Colombian woman and a Colombian 11-year old girl.
The victims were among 131 on board of flight HK4682 that crashed on San Andres early Monday morning. The crash miraculously killed no more than one passenger.
Despite bad weather conditions, aerial authorities were able to reach the Caribbean island to investigate the cause of the accident.
The U.S. has offered to help with investigations into the accident.
