Colombian pop princess Shakira has received a total of five nominations at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards, making her the most nominated female artist at this year’s ceremony, announced the singer’s website on Thursday.
With nominations based on her chart-topping latest album “She Wolf,” which has sold over a million copies in the U.S. alone, hip-shaker Shakira will be competing in the categories of Female Artist of the Year, Airplay Artist of the Year, Best Pop Latin Artist , Best Tropical Female Artist and Digital Download Artist of the Year.
The Barranquilla beauty has already won twelve Billboard awards in past years, including six in 2006.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place in Puerto Rico on April 29 and will be broadcast live on channel Telemundo.
