Renteria hopes to return to Braga

by Adriaan Alsema January 11, 2010

Colombia news - Wason Renteria

Colombia forward Wason Renteria is hoping to return to Portuguese club FC Braga after cutting his ties with Atletico Mineiro.

Renteria said in a radio interview on Monday that he hadn’t played enough with the Brazilian club to maintain his football fitness. He scored only one goal in sixteen games, and has been spending most of his time on the bench.

Renteria said he’d reached an agreement to leave and hoped to return to Braga. He joined Atletico from the Portuguese club in 2008.
