The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) in a statement said it had recieved information about the death threats human rights defenders had received from the ‘Águilas Negras’ (Black Eagles), a Colombian paramilitary group. Several organizers of a march against paramilitary violence were murdered around the time of the march.
