An alleged FARC attack on two electricity towers in the north of Antioquia on Sunday left four villages without power.
Local authorities say that members of the FARC’s 36th front bombed the two towers owned by Empresas Publicas de Medellin, one of Colombia’s largest power companies.
As a result, the power went out in the nearby towns of Toledo, San Jose de la Montaña, San Andres de Cuerquia and Itanguo.
Authorities were not able to restore electricity on Sunday and were unable to estimate the damages.
