The Foreign Minister organized a summit in Bogota on Thursday of Colombian ambassadors across the world to set out Colombia’s foreign policy for 2010.
The Foreign Minister, Jamie Bermudez, stated that any ambassadors unable to make the summit would be able to participate via tele-conference, reported news site Radio Santafe.
Bermudez will lead the summit and present the strategic directions proposed by the government regarding international relations in 2010. Primary goals will include the projection of a zero tolerance policy on the human rights violations, as well as the fight against drug trafficking and terrorism.
