Both U.S. newspaper the Wall Street Journal and U.S. Press Agency AP reported Friday how newly revealed documents from Raul Reyes’ laptop contained information, connecting Hugo Chávez’ socialist government with Colombian rebels of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).Santos now backs these stories saying Colombian intelligence agencies warned Caracas several times when Iván Márquez had been located on Venezuelan soil: “Many times we gave the coordinates, handed over the information, but nothing happened,” he said in an interview with W Radio.According to the Minister of Defense, Márquez is still in Venezuela.
