Colombia raised the number of confirmed cases of the swine flu to 25
Sunday. A boy from the Casanare department was diagnosed positive on
the virus.
The young patient already was treated when considered a “probable’ case and has responded well to the treatment, health authorities say.
In total, 153 people at the moment are suspected to have the virus. 902 people who were also suspected to have the virus, tested negative.
The swine flu caused 103 deaths in Mexico, where the virus broke out first, 27 in the United States, two in Chile, one in Costa Rica and one more in the Dominican Republic. Worldwide, thousands of people have been confirmed carriers of the virus and are being treated.
