Colombia sent two high intelligence officials to neighboring Panama to
help its authorities fight FARC guerrillas, who Panama says are on its
territory.
Police Intelligence Director Luis Gilberto Ramírez and Dijin director Cesar Augusto Pinzon have been in Panama since the beginning of this week to provide information about the suspected guerrillas active in the border area.
Panamanian security forces have had confrontations with FARC guerillas a number of times this past year.
