Colombian Police say they seized a large number of weapons and
chemicals used for the production of cocaine belonging to the FARC.
Narcotics police say they located the arsenal in the Nariño department, close to the Ecuadorean border.
The find consists of numerous guns and anti-tank mortars, ammunition and acetone, which is used for the processing of coca paste.
According to the Police, the find has significantly decreased the ability of the FARC’s Daniel Aldana column to attack army helicopters.
