Group B in the Colombian Copa Mustang 1 is anything but decided as after four games all teams have the same amount of points.
Junior impressed with a 3-0 win over Cucuta Deportivo in Barranquilla. Teofilo Gutierrez was undoubtedly the man of the match, scoring all of the home side’s goals. The forward first converted a penalty in the 51st minute and went on to net in the 69th and 81st minutes.
Cucuta’s Lionard Pajoy was sent off with a second yellow card in the 74th minute.
Deportivo Cali meanwhile, beat Envigado 2-1 to revive their championship hopes. Sergio Herrera handed the home side an early lead, scoring in the eighth minute.
The striker added a second in minute 27 and Dorlan Pabon’s goal for 2-1 on the hour wasn’t enough for Envigado to threaten their opposition. The away side had both Luis Perez and Jorge Serna red-carded.
With just two games to go, all sides have the same amount of points. Junior leads however, thanks to a better goal record.
