Real Cartagena added yet another three points to their season account, beating newly promoted Cortulua 1-2 in Saturday’s Liga Postobon action.
Striker Milton Rodriguez put leaders Cartagena in the lead after just nine minutes in Tulua, but the hosts surprisingly levelled through Victor Bonilla in the 69th.
The winning goal went Cartagena’s way however, as Edwards Jimenez found the target in the 82nd minute, 1-2.
Independiente Medellin successfully defended their second place, beating Deportes Quindio 1-0 at Atanasio Girardot stadium. The only goal came from Mario Gimenez in the 25th minute. Carlos Rodas of Quindio was sent off early in the second half.
Atletico Nacional risk dropping out of the top four after a 1-1 draw at Cucuta Deportivo. The hosts scored the opener through Cesar Arias after just three minutes but Nacional kept damage limited with an equaliser from Giovanni Moreno just before the break.
