Two policeman died during a roadside attack after responding to a false report of a traffic accident near the Pacific Coast port city of Buenaventura, Terra Colombia reported Tuesday.
The officers departed Buenaventura to assist accident victims after recieving what they thought to be a credible report of a traffic accident. Upon reaching their destination in a wooded area, the officers were attacked by an unknown group. One policeman was killed during the attack and the other died of his injuries while receiving emergency care in hospital.
