Colombian pop queen Shakira’s summer beach frolicking on the Spanish island of Ibiza has caught the attention of Gerard Pique, who is on the resort island celebrating his team’s Football World Cup victory.
The two were caught on camera enjoying the Spanish summer sun together and later partied hard at a local night club, where it was said the pair were revelling in each other’s company.
The night went so well that the Spanish defender charged forward by taking the Barranquilla beauty back to a hotel at which he was not registered.
The sheepish lovebirds emerged from the hotel two hours apart the next morning in an obvious attempt to dupe the well seasoned paparazzi lurking in wait.
Shakira coincidentally arrived on the Spanish island around the same time as the world champion Spanish football team, and is allegedly there for work.
One person who won’t be too happy about the Spaniard’s fast work is Antonio de la Rua, Shakira’s boyfriend of ten years. Maybe he should have paid attention when the singer said recently that she wasn’t the marrying kind, explaining that “there’s something very claustrophobic about the idea of marriage for me. I feel that men can get comfortable.”
