The second rainy season of this year has caused the deaths of 59 people
so far. Nine people are still missing and over 827,000 people suffer
damage to their houses or crops.

The Colombian Government announced Sunday it will reserve US$15 million for help to farmer whose crops or lands were destroyed and a fund raising evening on Colombian television station Caracol resulted in nearly 500 tons of goods that will be given to Colombia’s Red Cross to help the victims of the weather.
The rains, having caused emergency situations in almost all Colombia, are expected to last another two weeks.
