The body parts, which were reportedly in bed linen, were found on separate streets in Barrio El Sucre at around 6.30AM, according to Colonel Nelson Rincon of the Cali police.
The authorities in Cali told Colombia Reports that police have yet to identify the body of the woman.
According to the Cali office of the prosecutor general, two other dismembered bodies have been discovered in Cali this month; however in both cases the victims had been male. Authorities could neither confirm nor deny any connection between the murders.
