Colombian soccer star, Radamel Falcao, reaches a benchmark 200th career goal, but wants “300 more.”
The current striker for Atletico Madrid and the most popular player on Colombia’s national team, scored two goals in the 5-0 win over Granada C.F. on Sunday, with the second being a milestone 200th career goal.
“It’s a significant number for any player. This encourages me to keep fighting and to make many more goals for Atletico Madrid and the selection. Now I want 300 more goals,” said the star.
Falcao is looking to accomplish other personal achievements as well. His second goal of the game also marked his 24th of the season with seven games remaining. Last year he scored 24 goals in total for the entire season.
Throughout his career he has accumulated 66 goals as a professional with Atletico de Madrid, 72 with Portugal side, Porto, 45 with Argentina’s River Plate, 16 with Colombia’s national selection and one in the Lanceros de Boyaca, reported Caracol Radio.
