Alleged FARC guerrillas have blown up a section of a major Colombian oil pipeline, the second attack in 24 hours.
The attack, which blew a section of the Trasandino pipeline into five pieces, happened between the towns of Orito and Siberia in the Putumayo department.
Oil spilling from the damaged pipe reached several nearby farms. The explosion also sparked a fire, which authorities managed to put out before any damage was caused.
Electricity flow to five surrounding districts was disrupted.
Putumayo police said it was the second attack on the Trasandino pipeline in 24 hours.
