Images showing an unidentified object hovering over the central Colombian volcano Nevado del Ruiz were published by the Colombian geology service.
The video consists of images taken over 30 minutes between 7.05-7.35AM on the 14th of March. The images have been compressed to create a video lasting 8 seconds, which means the dark spot seen in the video actually hovered in front of the camera for aproximately three minutes.
Some internet users were quick to dismiss UFO claims made by others below you YouTube video posted by a local radio station.
“This video should be called ‘Fly seen at Nevado del Ruiz,'” was the top recommended comment on YouTube from Josue A.
Another top comment listed objects that the dark spot could be, including “an insect, ash, a leaf, a bag, a boomerang, a ball, etc.”
