Colombian film star Flora Martinez presents her 3-month-old daughter Sofia Reinoso to Jet Set magazine in a visit to her native country.
In June 2008, Flora Martinez who rose to fame with films such as “Rosario Tijeras” and “Violeta de mil colores,” announced her wedding to Uruguayan musician Jose Reinoso. In July this year the couple’s first child Sofia Reinoso was born in Barcelona.
“The baby did not want to come out naturally, so the doctors decided to perform a Cesarean section. Now she is beautiful, happy and getting bigger,” Martinez told Jet Set in an exclusive interview.
The Colombian star also said that her baby “looks like her father, but has my mouth”.
“I hope that Sofi inherits her father’s kind heart, his talent, his intelligence and his sensitivity to music,” she added.
The actress’ visit to Colombia was used to shoot photos for an advertising campaign of a new department store.
After the pregnancy, Martinez very quickly regained the curves which made her a sex symbol.
To the question of the secret to her post-pregnancy body, she answered, “I exercise and I don’t eat carbohydrates.”
Mother and daughter are set to return to Barcelona, where Martinez will promote the film “D.D. Hollywood” directed by Bigas Luna, which she shot while three months pregnant.
