Colombian actress Sofia Vergara has been nominated for a Golden Globe award, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The actress received a nomination in the “Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television” category together with Hope Davis (“The Special Relationship”), Jane Lynch (“Glee”), Kelly MacDonald (“Boardwalk Empire”) and Julia Stiles (“Dexter”).
Vergara was nominated for her role as trophy wife Gloria in the ABC sitcom “Modern Family.”
The Colombian bombshell is at the height of her fame after her performance in the comedy was nominated for an Emmy earlier this year.
