Shakira ‘to breastfeed son until college’

by Adriaan Alsema May 31, 2013

Colombian pop star and The Voice coach Shakira said Thursday she will be breastfeeding her baby Milan “until he goes to college.”

In an interview with USA Today, the starlet talked about motherhood and getting back in shape.

“I’m not back all the way to my old self, but I look decent now, I think,” the singer told the reporter, adding jokingly that “what has helped me a lot was breastfeeding, and I’m so hooked, I’m telling you, I think I’m going to keep breastfeeding this baby until he goes to college because I can’t stop.”

Shakira had her son in January. Less than two months later, she was back at work to be the coach of “Team Shakira” in the fourth series of the NBC program.
