Colombian pop diva Shakira is the world’s fourth most popular Twitter celebrity.

Shakira’s account, @shakira, had more than 12.808,400 followers on Wednesday morning.

The only celebrities with more followers are Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber and Kate Perry.

Colombia’s most famous star is closely followed by socialite babe Kim Kardashian who had 12.639,400 followers.

Shakira started using Twitter in June 2009.
