Seven soldiers were killed in the departments of Antioquia and Caqueta on Tuesday.
According to RCN Radio, four soldiers were killed in a minefield 80 miles north of the city of Medellin and three were killed in combat with suspected guerrillas of the FARC in the south of the Caqueta department.
On Monday, President Juan Manuel Santos said that 460 members of the security forces were killed by illegal armed groups so far this year.
