by Adriaan Alsema May 11, 2011

Colombia news - Real Madrid

Spanish soccer team Real Madrid will return to Colombia for a friendly match against Bogota team Millonarios, local media said Wednesday.

According to news website Terra, the event will be held sometime in the 2011-2012 season.

Event organizer Imla de Colombia, that previously brought Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi to the capital, did not confirm the coming of Real Madrid, but did publish on its facebook page that Thursday “a great spectacle” will be announced.

Real Madrid also had not confirmed the match.

The Spanish team was in Colombia in 2008 when it beat Bogota team Santa Fe 1-2.
