Quadruplets born in north Colombia

A woman in the north Colombian city of Barranquilla gave birth to healthy quadruplets, local media report.

According to Caracol Radio, the quadruplets were the result of artificial insemination after mother Genet Jimenez and father Leonel Hernandez were unable to have children the natural way.

The children Sarah, Sofia, Samuel and Sebastian were reportedly born in good health after being given birth through a caesarian.

Quadruplets are extremely rare. against the birth of 700,000 singleton, one quadruplets is born.
