Mickey Rourke coming to Colombia to shoot movie

by Adriaan Alsema October 2, 2014

Legendary Hollywood actor legend Mickey Rourke will be coming to Colombia this month, local media reported Thursday.

According to the reports, Rourke and fellow-actors Freida Pinto and Ryan Kwanten will visit Colombia to shoot Blunt Force Trauma, a thriller about an underground money-making subculture of people wear bulletproof vests and shoot each other.

The movie will mostly be shot around the capital Bogota and will include the Sabana train station, La Calera, Fontibon, El Codito and Zipaquira.

Rourke is not the first actor to come to Colombia; Following the coming into force of a law that seeks to draw foreign filmmakers to the South American country; Hollywood troublemaker Charlie Sheen came to Colombia to look at locations for a movie, but got in some minor trouble while doing so.
