Madonna to play in Colombia: Caracol

by Adriaan Alsema March 26, 2012

Pop diva Madonna will be playing Colombia at the end of this year, television network Caracol reported Monday.

Unlike most major acts, Madonna will not be playing in the capital Bogota, but in the country’s second largest city Medellin, the TV station said.

According to Caracol, the concert may to be taking place on November 29.

The diva’s website did not confirm the reported gig in support of her latest album, MDNA. So far, only European and North American gigs have been published on the singer’s website.

Madonna, responsible for selling some 300 million records worldwide, would be the world’s biggest star ever to play in Colombia.
