Juanes to star in documentary

by Adriaan Alsema February 7, 2011

Colombia news - Juanes

Mexican filmmaker Angel Flores will make a documentary about Juanes on the Colombian rocker’s forthcoming tour of the U.S.

The movie will focus on the star’s life backstage. “I want to show that being a singer and famous like Juanes often isn’t fun,” the filmmaker was quoted as saying by several Latin American media.

Filming will begin on March 10 in Seattle where Juanes’ U.S. tour to promote his album P.A.R.C.E. kicks off.

Juanes is one of Colombia’s most popular singers and has received 17 Latin Grammy awards.
