Spanish soccer giant FC Barcelona is interested in taking over Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid, a Spanish sports website reported Wednesday.
According to Sport.es, the current Spanish champion expressed its interest in Falcao during a meeting between executives of both clubs.
The website reported that — while there is an explicit interest — the Colombian striker is not a priority for Barcelona.
Falcao won the last two Europa Leagues, first with FC Porto and second with Atletico. The Colombian was named the 21st centrury’s best signing in the Spanish league.
