by Adriaan Alsema December 31, 2010

Colombia news - Cuchillo

Relatives of “Cuchillo” received the remains of the paramilitary drug lord who died on Christmas day after an attack on the ranch where he was celebrating Christmas.

According to the coroner’s office in Bogota, the body was given to the drug lord’s mother and his brother who is currently in jail for drug trafficking.

A spokesperson for the family said that Pedro Oliveiro Guerrero, alias Cuchillo, had been buried in Bogota.

Before his death Cuchillo was the leader of ERPAC, a drug trafficking group that emerged from the ashes of the demobilized AUC. He was one of Colombia’s most wanted criminals.
