Garzon surprisingly appeared Sunday morning at mass in Bogota’s San Alfonso Maria de Ligorio church.

While entering the church in a wheelchair, the VP proved able to stand up when required by the service.

The vice president was hospitalized on June 14 for a prostate infection. While in hospital he suffered a stroke and Garzon was moved to intensive care where he was put in an induced coma. At the end of June he awoke from the coma and was taken off the respiratory support.
