Colombia’s Radamel Falcao has been loaned to Manchester United, and he will play for the “Red Devils” in the Premier League for the rest of the season.
After being linked to several clubs such as Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Juventus, the speculations on Falcao’s future squad is over — at least for the season, according to the UK’s Daily Mail..
The Colombian striker is believied to be traveling to Manchester by private jet to finalize the personal terms on Monday. “El Tigre” will be leaving French team AS Monaco on a loan, and whether the deal includes the option for a full transfer at the end of the season is unclear, Colombian news magazine Semana reported.
The loan will cost Manchester United at least $9 million, and Colombia’s star striker might be looking at $200,000 a week, Daily Mail wrote.
In order to secure his departure to a more challenging environment this season, Falcao has allegedly reduced his demands for a loan contract.
Last year’s Champions League winners, Real Madrid, were supposedly the favorites to sign Falcao, but instead the Spanish capital club has loaned Mexican Javier Hernadez from Manchester United.
Manchester United have been very eager to improve their squad after last season’s failure. The red devils have also invested in Angel di Maria, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, and Marcos Rojo.
Cuadrado remains in Fiorentina
It seems the Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado will stay in Fiorentina for now. On Saturday the Colombian stated on his Instagram that he will remain in Fiorentina with great enthusiasm.
Recently, the head coach of the Italian team stated that Cuadrado would stay in Fiorentina even though the winger has been rumored to both Manchester United and Barcelona.
