Seized assets

Colombian police seized on Friday a total of 116 assets allegedly belonging to the Cifuentes Villa siblings, considered important associates of the Mexican druglord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman and his Sinaloa Cartel, weekly magazine Semana reported.

The assets of drug-trafficking siblings Alexander, Jorge Milton and Dolly Cifuentes Villa  are estimated to be worth over $15M, including real estate and vehicles. National police and the Prosecutor General’s Office seized the assets in departments throughout the country– Antioquia, Cundinamarca, Meta, Valle del Cauca, Caldas, Nariño and Risaralda.

According to officials, the Cifuentes Villa siblings were responsible for shipping some 30 tons of cocaine to the U.S. over the past three years, radio station Caracol reported.
