Colombia, Mexico and Central America to work together on security

Colombian, Mexican and Central American police representatives will reunite this Thursday in Nicaragua to discuss common strategies against drug trafficking, organized crime and border security, radio station Caracol reported.

The meeting would outline a plan for cross-border cooperation in the region and simultaneous action in the fight against transnational crime. Special emphasis would be put on the situation of Colombia and Mexico in regard to their high importance for international drug traffickers.
