A pornographic film shot in the middle of Cartagena’s historical center created controversy among residents and media.
The film was shot at Castillo de San Filipe, an important fortress and part of the city’s historical coastal defenses.
In the film a man and a woman are seen having hard sex on the upper part of the fortress. The plot appears to be centered around a tourist guide and a visitor, alluding to the recent sex scandal involving Secret Service agents during Barack Obama’s visit to the historic city in April this year for the sixth Summit of the Americas.
Castillo de san Filipe was also the sight of the presidential meeting during the events of April, making the connection even more intimate.
Claudia Fadul, a city official interviewed by RCN Radio, referred to the event as “disgusting” and “sad,” while promising to file a complaint against those responsible.
The film follows a string of controversial porn videos shot in northern Colombia in the past few months.
