Bogota to receive salsa master Joe Arroyo

by Adriaan Alsema June 13, 2011

Colombia news - Joe Arroyo

Despite recent hospitalization for respiratory problems, Joe Arroyo — one of Colombia’s greatest salsa performers ever — will be performing in Bogota on Saturday.

The 55-year old Arroyo, considered the ambassador of salsa from Colombia’s Caribbean coast, will be performing at the Downtown Majestic.

The musical hero will not come alone. He will be accompanied by Medellin-based salsa heroes Fruko & Sus Tesos and vallenato star Diomedez Diaz.

Tickets are available online.
