Barranquilla crowned the queen of queens Monday in the city’s traditional carnival beauty pageant.
Local beauty Lina Machado took over the honor of last year’s winner Yesenia Consuegra.
Apart from the honor, the 20-year old costeña beauty queen walked away with a new car, a university scholarship, a $1,000 voucher from Colombia’s biggest retailer and all other kinds of goodies.
