The Colombian army said Saturday it had shut down the main radio station operated by the left-wing rebel group FARC.
The army said troops captured transmitters and other broadcast equipment during the raid of a guerilla camp in the central department of Meta.
However, the radio station’s transmission could be heard normally on its website on Sunday.
The rebel radio station — known as the Voice of Resistance — broadcasts FARC propaganda across large areas of southern, eastern and central Colombia.
The army claimed it had shut down the same radio station last year and in 2008.
The radio station has been transmitting on and off for 15 years.
