Teofilo Gutierrez scored two goals to power Colombia over Honduras 2-0 in an international soccer friendly between Latin American rivals.
Gutierrez on Saturday scored on a penalty kick in the 24th minute after he was pulled down in the penalty area by Honduran defender Victor Bermudez.
His second goal came in the 71st minute when he netted a rebound off a shot by Dayro Moreno.
Each team finished with 10 men after Honduran Hendry Thomas was ejected in the 50th minute and Colombia’s Gustavo Ramos was thrown out by referee Jorge Gonzalez.
Honduras was coming off a 2-0 victory over another South American rival, Venezuela, last month in Florida.
Colombia, a quarter-final loser to Peru at Copa America, was guided by Leonel Alvarez after Hernan Dario Gomez stepped down last month as coach.
